Between Magilligan and the Glens of Antrim runs the most dramatic coast road on the island — and, our data says, its highest density of coffee huts. The Causeway Coast has quietly become Northern Ireland's answer to the Wild Atlantic Way's hatch culture: 104 coffee spots along the shore, four of them proper huts with the sea for a seating area.

How this guide works
Same rules as our city guides: numbers from our own dataset (OpenStreetMap plus community submissions), names earned through data and local standing, and the island mapped whole — the border makes no difference to a flat white.
The four huts
The Boathouse Coffee Hut — Ballycastle
On the harbour where the coast starts to get serious, with Rathlin Island across the sound. The archetype of the breed: no seats, big view, proper coffee.
Shorebird Coffee Hut — Portstewart
Serving the strand crowd — two miles of National Trust beach, surfers at one end, and a hut that knows exactly what a cold swimmer needs.
Surf Shack — Portrush
Where the Atlantic swell meets the north coast's surf capital; the name is the menu and the queue is half wetsuits.

The minimalist of the fleet — a name that trusts you to understand. You will find it, and the others, with the huts filter.
Beyond the huts: the coast that roasts
Four roasteries and bean shops line the same stretch — including Ground along the coast and Culture Coffee — so the huts have serious backup when the weather sends you indoors. Between Portstewart, Coleraine, Portrush and Ballycastle, the map shows a proper indoor cup never more than a few minutes away.
The Causeway day, in cups
The classic run: coffee one at Portstewart strand (Shorebird), the Giant's Causeway before the crowds, coffee two in Ballycastle (the Boathouse hut) with Rathlin on the horizon, then the Glens or Carrick-a-Rede depending on your nerve.
